Would Feeder Finger Damage cause the bite out of the dome? I found several nickels in the same obw roll with these scrapes under the monticello. Is this fairly common or worth keeping?

First off,
with Feeder Finger Damage, and yes, I would keep this just in case it does turn out to be a scarce to rare die issue.
The scraping of the steel fingers used to feed the blank planchets to be struck into coins could indeed scratch up the die and end up as linear raised lines on the coin.

Usually, the feeder fingers don't impact the devices but just scrape the fields when they get damaged. So, yes, I would keep this one. Not sure if it adds any extra value though.

I found several more nickels with the same error in the next 2 rolls.
They either have a big hole at the base of the dome or they have a narrower dent towards the middle of the dome.

That die is beyond repair so the mint may have just let it run it's course
in which case there could be thousands of them out there.
This is the first one I have seen though.

I did find a nickel with two cracks in the dome, but the picture didn't come out too clearly.

IMHO I would say the metal (and possibly grease) from the feeder fingers scraping across the die was deposited along the edge of the dome and filled part of that device.

Petespockets55 is correct. This is a field-restricted struck-through error. The feeder/ejector smeared a lumpy paste across the die face. Such errors are largely or completely restricted to the field, as in this case. Field-restricted struck-through errors are often aligned with co-occurring feeder scrapes, which may be present here.
