Verdi-Care is a great product. Having used it a number of times with noticeable results. The difference when I use it I
soak the coin in acetone first then use the VC. You state the opposite. What way is best?

Thanks!

It all depends on the coin and the amount of conservation work. In this case, the coin came from an OBW roll so it was pristine. Acetone was not needed to pre-remove anything from the coin.

It's on sale this weekend by my business partner. It's a good time to stock up!

i wonder how a TPG would see the resulting mark. would they say it was cleaned? would they not even notice it the remaining mark? would they knock the grade due to it? it would be interesting to see that.

After applying VC and removing the verdigris, do you think it helps to apply a conditioner/preservative to inhibit the return of the verdigris?

NGC or PCGS would not straight grade this piece .
They would state Improperly cleaned , spot removed .
Been there done that !

The ebay seller did not include instructions for use of this product. Had to email him and request help. Not the best service but at least he sent a couple of links.
