Verdi-Care is a great product. Having used it a number of times with noticeable results. The difference when I use it I soak the coin in acetone first then use the VC. You state the opposite. What way is best?

We could use a 'parking lot coin' conservation product...

What way is best? Thanks! It all depends on the coin and the amount of conservation work. In this case, the coin came from an OBW roll so it was pristine. Acetone was not needed to pre-remove anything from the coin.

i wonder how a TPG would see the resulting mark. would they say it was cleaned? would they not even notice it the remaining mark? would they knock the grade due to it? it would be interesting to see that.
