BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19935 Posts	Posted 05/27/2022 8:27 pm Thanks to the generosity of a forum member who sent me this coin I performed a conservation tonight - thought I'd share it. A beautiful coin marred with a single, tiny spot of verdigris. This is exactly why I developed VERDI-CARE™. The total time for this conservation was about 20 minutes. Applied a tiny amount of VC to the tip of a toothpick, touched the spot and formed a small "dome" over the it. Let it sit there for 15 minutes then gently rotated the tip of the toothpick over spot - taking care to keep the VC from spreading too much. Carefully dabbed off the excess and rinsed with acetone. In this case, the coin came from an OBW roll so it was pristine. Acetone was not needed to pre-remove anything from the coin. Lincoln Cent Lover!
