major find that baby's popping with doubling. Its a good one have owned an MS BN and sold it ahhhh and regret it. Even at $200.00 I think these are undervalued and don't come up often for auction. Great score.

@Makecents Yep! Bought $10 of customer wrapped rolls the other day. There were a good number of BU 80s-early 90s mixed in, so I wonder if maybe at least some of the coins were from an old change jar or something that a person finally cashed in.
@luvmyCAM Thanks! It's awesome finally getting a rare variety that's actually on a nice coin! The only other truly rare variety I've ever found was a 1996 FS-101 in absolutely tragic condition. Feels so much better to get a rare variety on a beautiful coin.

@luvmyCAM someone seems to be selling a legit one raw on ebay right now for $200 in what appears to be about AU RD/BN condition if you're looking to own one again! (Not a seller I know or have anything to do with, just looked the variety up out of curiosity and thought I'd mention since you said you had seller's remorse)

Congrats on finding a very nice variety. That looks to be at least a 65 and maybe even a 66.

@PetesPockets the grey haze is just a product of my phone camera not being great and me being too lazy to remove the coin from the 2x2. It's not on the coin itself. And thanks! I'm definitely considering sending it in! :)
@SilverCents thanks! Really excited about this one!

That does not look like a circulation find. Awesome coin! Someone had it stashed away for years or it would look like the rest of them.

@Willburton definitely. I think some of the coins in this batch must have come from someone's old change stash or something that they finally cashed in. There were an unusual number of these BU zincolns mostly between 1983 and 1991.
