I would say this one isn't a match for WDDR-001.
The B is what shows the most "thickness" on the variety, especially the "notching"/angle (as Wexler puts it) on the top left of the B. The insides of the B are more of an elongated oval instead of circular like this coin.

This one might show the "notching"/angle on the top left of the L. One still image of the LB makes it too difficult to tell for sure.

And Petespockets55 would know about this particular DDR.

Thanks for the input, man!

Guys my apology here, it was never my intent to cause confusion or to create a seek and find conquest. I just thought that you might see what I saw on the reverse side on the ribbon. The line does not appear to be raised or incused, if it is a stain how could it be so perfectly placed as is? I am not questioning your expertise, just curious.

I did find per Coop's suggestions that the "Y" and the signature is as according to John Wexler's DDR's.

Once again sorry for the confusion and thanks for your expertise as always.

Bill Kerr, Don't take it too personally. Sometimes the replies come off stronger than intended because of the magic of the internet LOL. But there could be many things in a general area and it's difficult to know what is being referred to.

Not being raised or incuse makes it most likely a stain. There's no way to know how a stain might happen but a car cup holder is usually a prime suspect.

I believe what you were looking at there was a reference to the Master Die Doubling Wexler mentions. That doubling on the Mater Dies shows up on many dies for the year and isn't desirable since the coin becomes one of billions instead of one of maybe 100,000.

Guys, I ended up sending this coin to John Wexler and he classified it as a 2017-P 1¢ WDDO-011. Therefore I also sent it to ANACS for grading it came back as a AU 58. Just thought you might want to know about the update, thanks for your input.

Bill,
Congrats on your discovery. Just a note;we could have saved a lot of confusion if you would have told us in detail what you were seeing. It went from a stain to a DDR,
Anyways congrats again on your find.

I'm confused. There is no DDO-011, it was de-listed because it was one of the doubled working hubs, WWHO-002.

So this is a new listing that just has not been updated yet? If so, congrats on the discovery, Bill!

I'd be I treated to see what this doubled die looks like. For OP. To show us pics up close and such of it.
It'll be awhile till the sites updated anyways. we've seen that already.
Interesting post tho as I don't think the intention of OP was that he was saying there was a DDO but commenting on something else not related.
We went from stain to DDR and seeing things and now a new DDO
Lol. If not able to get pics then a site update we'll have to wait for I hope it's strong.
