What is going on between the A and M of America? and what about the pimples in the field above the eagle's head. Pimples may be from rusted dies but draws a red flag from me until I confirm otherwise. Obverse does have nice eye appeal.

Small amount of wear on the high points that patinated over, then s some slight rubbing on those high points after that, and now re patinating over those high points again. AU-55.

AU55, a little bit of appealing toning. Presents very nicely overall with a sharp strike.
I'd be proud to own it. Only nit-picky little issue is below the date and I'd probably still buy it anyway.

AU-55. Obverse carries this coin to me. Not a fan of the reverse spotting.
