to the CCF!

Here's a side by side of the small and large date for 1982. It shows the key features that help identify each type.

This it is Cooper coin with normal strike indifferent if it is LD or SD.

What I do not understand why we have so many questions if it is SD or LD. All those was hundreds of millions.

Here's a side by side that Yokozuna was talking about (same specs for regular 1982s as well which is interesting):

I have at least 10 of them in the official sets. Where it is the rarity? And according by my database two rolls of all the 7 varieties. WHERE IT ISTHE RARITY? The most expensive are in MS 69 Zinc SD and LD. In Cooper you have to reach MS 68 to pas 1000

@ oddguy: If you want to buy PM me with your offer.

All I know is Coin World had an article about a collector who found one, gave it to Heritage auction and it sold for 10,000 dollars and it was noted that it was only the second one found to date. That write up was about thee years ago. I will try to find out the issue of write up. I only say what is documented from a well known source.

Had to look in all the issues of Coin World and found the article on the 1982d small date it is March of 2019 page 5. I am glad that I remembered what I had read and to know I was correct. So any dispute should not be directed at me, read for yourself. Top of page reads "A second 1982d Lincoln small date has been authenticated"

Gee, it did not have to be that complex. Thanks Errers and Variety for your research. I thought that we were here to learn and be considerate to each other, not to have egos and rude.
