"Not a fan" means I just don't care for it as shown, not something I'd want to own.

I think it makes VF for detail. The obverse shows a lot of fine hairline scratches that are partially concealed by the toning. I'd describe it as "VF detail, cleaned and re-toned". $100 might be an OK price; if I were interested I'd point out the cleaning problem and try to negotiate a discount.

Yeah that is what I doing now. The seller insists that it isn't a cleaned coin. and there is a slight conflict during negotiations. I've made up my mind: buy it if at 600rmb(about $82·5) as my last low quality coin! Thank you.

Weak strike on eagle. I have a 41-O in an AU58 holder where the eagle's head and neck is very weakly struck. The New Orleans mint was notorious for weak strikes.

Regarding an old cleaning, see the hairlines in the right obverse field and on the drapery on the hip area.

I'm a fan!!!

Not in cleaned camp, I don't think it has been messed with. I see harilines as circulation marks. I think anything that has built up some tarnish is susceptible to micro abrasions on the film layer.

Dear Catbert and DOCC
I also think there might be a weak strike, becasuse the rest parts of the coin are relatively "new". I've got it at a very low price.

Dear Coinfrog
I will upload some new pics after finishing the calsses in the morning, the coin is in the dormitory.
