At this point, I'm thinking plated. Full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse would be very welcome.

@mark, first welcome to CCF. Second, can you please check to see if a strong magnet is attracted to this cent? I agree that it likely was plated after it left the mint, but we might be able to narrow it down a bit with this additional information. Thx.

Ty, I will try to get better pics, my phone does not have a very good camera, sorry. I tried several magnets, absolutely not magnetic.

Please repost with better pictures. These last two are way too blurry and too dark to be useful.

to the CCF With the coin being underweight, I'm thinking it's been mercury rubbed. Either way, not an error.
