Also the "S" mintmark punch was becoming damaged the more they used it over time (never understood why they overused the MM punch instead of making a new one) and by 1970 the damage was predominantly being confused with an RPM.

tm33040, just so you understand, yours is not the re-used mint mark punch, yours is just a worn out MMS-008, look at the years they were used to match your year.

Your photos seem distorted? Looks like you also need to filter your light to reduce glare. And your close ups are a bit too close up.
Taking coin pics does takes practice though.
