Yes that is a super close-up picture. Thx for adding it to the thread. To my eyes, yours looks closest to CU-1c-1988-04, but it isn't an exact match so may be a bit later in that die's life. I'm interested to see what others think is the best match.

Because of the die crack on the reverse, would that make it older? Are the obverse and reverse matched up for life, or do they change out?

No the reverse die crack does not necessarily make it older, and dies are not matched up for 'life'. if a reverse die wears out fast or gets damaged the mint will change that die only. But, for your coin - it is a nice Cud and die crack.

If evidence of either a Cud or die crack appears, it is not that all uncommon for both features to appear on the coin, due to progressive die failure.
