It has the 19 step reverse. Like E&V stated - 1990 to 2008 (?)

Might compare the bust, face and hair features. Also the spacing of STA. Might narrow it down a bit. Thanks, Doug.

I see zinc below that copper plating so it's definitely 1982 or later.

Nice example!

Between the differences in the lower beard, the bowtie, the collar and the vest, it would appear to fall in the 97 to 99 group.

I added pics later to show how I came to my conclusion, I thought some might want to see. Most, because of the tie or other obvious features were easy to eliminate but had to go to pics from PCGS to narrow down between the 93 to 96 and 97 to 99. There is much less detail to the vest with changes made in 97.

Great job comparing the design changes for those years.
And there were a whole lot of off center and broad stuck cents produced in 1999 & 2000.

Your comparison images reminded me about Lincoln's "Chicken lips" from 2000! (Thanks for that term Viv.)

Thanks, guys. It's fun to see if it can even be narrowed down. Good pics and what is shown have much to do with it.

It was Viv, wasn't it, nice recall! Here is another a few months ago that the chicken lips gave the date away.
