This seems like one of the high points of the coin. Easy to get hit and look like an error. PMD is my guess Edited by Willburton

I just Have a hard time with it being PMD in my eyes and yes they recently have been checked should be good lol. At first I agreed with the Dropped letter. But it just seemed to be raised to me. So I angled the scope and took some shots. I will try again here in a few. I hope its not PMD or the work and reading was pointless lol  |

Since the isolated element appears on the highest point of the design, it's most likely a contact mark from another cent.
Error coin writer and researcher.

Last image is a bamboo stick to create a shadow and to be honest it looked way better when I took the shot vs now.  |

also if you look at one of the images fast it seems incused and magically after awhile it balloons back up. I've got the magic, it's in my 1963 penny
