wondering if you'd say its at all accurate.
I would not use or trust any app for anything other than basic identification. Grade and value are not going to be accurate. Not yet.

I would definitely hit the "sell now "button.

Compare to a high-end MS example from PCGS: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1927-1/7370

The app isn't accurate. I wouldn't trust it. Pictures aren't the best, but I don't think it's in MS condition like the app said.

I agree, jbuck. However, with the rapid advances in AI, I think we'll get to a point in the not-too-distant future where some grading apps may be fairly reliable, but the "eye appeal" factor I believe will always be a wild card when it comes to pricing. It's so very subjective, yet can have a very significant impact on the price a coin sells for.

@Kacinicole17 you could test the app's accuracy by using pics of graded coins and comparing the results. I'd feed it some AU55s and 58s and see if it grades them MS.

Does this app charge any fees? This is actually kinda scary - if apps do all your grading and price calculations there will be no incentive at all for younger people to read up and learn through experience.
I can hear it now - Dealer: "I will sell you this coin for $400"
Kid looking at his phone: "My app says it's only worth $175"

The photos I added weren't the best as I was just trying it out for the first time, I can add better photos if wanted fo see it better. It is in really good shape but cant say it hasn't been cleaned, just know I haven't and have had it for many years. But I wouldnt give it an MS especially off the photo added.
The app is free up to the point I got, and can sell to all others using the app similar to selling on ebay or etc but have the option to get it appraised which isn't free.

When I click on more precise results, it takes me to a page to add more photos, and a box to type any description/details about the coin to send and pay for an appraisal.
I mean, if they want to let me sell it for that amount then I'm in& best deal Ill prob get .

Hence the, "not yet." I never bet against the future.

I don't think the grade can be determined by these photos. If forced to guess, I agree with most here that it is not MS.

I agree the coin can not be accurately from these photos. The app appears like a gimmick to generate revenue as the app prices the coin in the MS65 plus range.

All of these apps are trash.

There is 0 chance that coin is worth the price quoted.

I would say near zero chance. Since a thing is worth what something is willing to pay, we cannot ignore that one person foolish enough to pay this amount. The chance of finding them is what approaches zero.

AI apps are not there yet. maybe some day. they can pretty much determine denomination and date accurately but as for grading not so much. maybe sometime in future. your eyes are better than any AI app at this time.
