now I need to put it together I have 70% of em but the older quarters are what is gonna set me back gonna try and do VF+ on any of the pre 1950 coins and AU for the later ones actually I am thinking VF for 1900-1925 EF 1925-1950 AU 1951-1975 MS 1976-1999 or do they look better if they are all the same gradebecause it will be hard to find a VF SBA or Ike

I would think you should be able to do AU for everything but the barbers, the Indian cent and the standing liberty for about the same price, if you are not too choosy about the specific dates. Price difference between VF and AU on a lot of the others is not too much. Maybe you could have it sorted by grade, with all the older barbers and such on one page, AU stuff on another, and then the MS moderns on another.

well I am gonna buy the best looking I can afford but I was thinking a lower standered will help me keep it affordable and should the ASE be included in a type set like this?

I would like to see it once you are finished. I am into type sets right now since starting my 7070. I think your endeavor should not be too costly save the barber half, the dime and quarter could be found in VF for around $30 or less. I would like to see pics after you sre done!

Quote:I have a set similar to Prethen's except that all the coins are proofs except the Standing Liberty quarter and the Peace dollar. I still lack two coins though, the Barber quarter and half. You have a Proof Morgan in there too?! All right you show off...let's see 'em!
