Those would certainly be adequate as a Christmas gift for me. Nice grab! I wish my Wife had your sense of grade when it comes to Christmas. I don't need any more shirts! Who needs clothes when there are so many great coins to be had?

Very Nice Moe! I especially like the toning on the 1847 and obv. of the 1861-S. Are you working on a set of Seated halves?

Nice coins! If you're trying to fill the holes I suggest

No pictures, but fair grading on a wide variety of Seated coins. I was paying attention to that PCGS 1855-S half in Good, but it's a little too pricey for now.

I am not particularly a US collector, but these are really nice. I went to Berk's store once and bought from a "junk" bin. The coins were 1.66 each but were really nice "junk".

Really nice. Didn't mention how much and from what I know about that place, should have been really high. Were those slabbed or raw? Really some high graded coins there. Ever wonder how a coin could have lasted in that condition for so long?

I paid $50 for the '47, $55 for the '61S, and $65 for the '62S.

I don't think these prices were outrageous. I (generally) like Berk's quality and their grading is usually pretty close. They disclose any coin flaws and have expandable pictures for review.

A coin of the same quality would be about as much on ebay (or more).

I have bought close to 40 coins from Harlan J. Berk. They seem like upfront folks to me.
