Trying To Sell On Another Forum, Terrible Results

I have had very good fortune by using the b/s/t forums here. I've done more horse trading here than anywhere else on the Net...seriously. And, I'm still around. I really like doing business with the people on this board and I think (I hope at least) the same goes for those people with me.

Did I get lucky or what when I hit this forum? Never looked for another. I've had some excellent exchanges with members here, and I have no fear of asking questions and have learned a lot here; last example was my "dots-no dots" question, for which I could find no answer by researching elsewhere. It just so happens that I administer another online forum myself, and I recognize excellent leadership when I see it - from both Mom and Dad and the excellent moderators in charge here. Thanks!

And the weather in Kansas is excellent - warm and wet today, maybe a little sun tomorrow. March has come in like a lamb, so I figure that we'll get a brace of tornados at the end of the month. National Weather Service has already hinted that the tornado count may go up this year. eaglefoot! Take cover! (just kidding; okay, not funny - sorry)

I tend to lurk the PCGS site quite a bit, especially their forum for buying/selling. Because of the big audience, great deals spring up more often. Other than that, I stay here...

I'm a member here, CT, and collectors universe. This forum is by far the friendliest, and where I feel most comfortable. Definitely more of a family feel here. CT is decent, but not as friendly and there are a lot more critics. At the same time, there are a lot more members/threads, and if I need an answer fast, or multiple opinions; I usually get responses quicker there than I do here. Also the fact that it is larger makes it more likely that you will find a relevant thread when you do a search. The PCGS forum is the least friendly, but again, the response time is the fastest and there are tons of useful threads in the archives.

So basically, I participate the most and am the most comfortable here; but the others come in handy for quick responses and resource access.

Though I have been collecting coins all my life I wasn't looking for this forum when I found it. My 12 year old boy wanted a metal detector for christmas & when I was doing research I found this forum. I'm glad I did. It's nice to have "Grown Up" conversation & comments.

I'm a member here and the PCGS forums, and I like CCF a lot more. I mostly use the Collectors Universe forums to buy and sell, as the other areas there are a bit too large and complex for me to post regularly. I post on CCF a lot more and go on it much more, partly due to the fact I feel comfortable posting here and it really does seem like a "family." I've had good success both buying and selling here and on the PCGS boards. Like rustyboy said, there are a very large number of BST posts on there, and I think if you are careful there you'll be fine. Most people there are okay and selling gives you the advantage, as a buyer has less security when buying or selling on a forum like this. I've done more transactions here than on the PCGS forums, and I enjoy dealing with the people here, and every transaction here has been 100% smooth.

CCF for me This is the only coin forum I have ever belonged to and I hope to stick around for a while.

There are a lot of cantankerous PCGS dealers over there for sure, and I was banned from CU in October of 2008 for a "political" comment but have since rejoined.

But, the B/S/T threads at CU can generate some great deals and aside from ebay, that's where I've bought most of my coins. Below CDN Bid prices for PCGS slabbed pieces is hard to beat and can be done there all the time.
