Let us know what you find. I love those chances to teach people how to generally grade them, how to care for them and look them up in the Red Book. I always tell them DON'T clean them! Have fun!

Probably just full of those old, silly 1909S VDB cents or a pile of 1916D Mercury dimes.

Ok, so here's a quick breakdown of what I found last night. No 1909-S VDBs or 1916-D Mercs unfortunately.

1913 Quarter Eagle in a Jewelry mount (going to see if I can unscrew it or if it is soldered on)
1 roll 1964 Kennedy AU/BU
1 roll mixed date 40% silver XF through BU
2 rolls mixed date (mostly 60s) quarters AU/BU
3 rolls Roosevelt dimes mixed dates (1/2 in the 60s) VG through BU
$5 in circulated mixed date Lincoln Memorial Cents (not sure why he kept those)
$1.45 in Wheat cents - best date was a 1922-D in G, 1910, 1912. A few Philly mint teens and twenties, the rest 30s, 40s, 50s mostly Philly also.
2 Morgans - 1899-O XF, 1921 AU
1866 5 cents - no rim and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is only partially visible - I'd call it FR2
1874 Indian cent corroded G
4 common date Mercury dimes
3 Ikes (non silver)
$15 in mixed date post-71 Kennedys
A few random foregin coins

Thanks for the update. Sounds almost like your very typical accumulation. Not bad, not earthshaking.
It's a good time to find rolls of silver coins.

Sounds like enough silver to get you and the misses out of the house for the evening. Cool deal.

Get your priorities straight, man! That's the interesting part!
List them and then say "A few random US coins, some silver".
