I have the same commerative coin you first listed above. Can't find history..yet. Will share when found. At least we know it is worth its weight in silver. LOL

The one if have was minted in 1985. I think Norfed came online around 1996. So I believe John has it right. No connection, though, as has already been stated.

Mine shows no date. Also, it has the head pic down to the throat area...not a full body pic. Does this mean it is older or newer?

Since it says, "Millennial", perhaps it was made circa ~2000? Not sure.

I found it in 1993...at an old/abandoned country school yard.

I finally got mine and it 31.4g and not quite in as good as shape but it is nice and not that common and I got it for less than spot. I am happy.

NORFED started making Liberty dollars in 1998. I am still kicking myself for not getting some 1998s back then as just novelty pieces. I had stumbled upon his site while browsing. I had seriously considered getting around 5-10. And now these 1998s sell on ebay for mucho dinero! Hindsight is always best.
