i enjoy finding good, useable stuff, but not quite so much all on one trip! I don't care for second trips out, especially when I have other things I have to tend to... but I couldn't let all those bottles of water go. I just had to make another trip. that's not greed; that's 'finder's-keepers' and I couldn't pass it up. I mean, 20 bottles of water?! nearly a full case. that's an asset someone left behind. a case of water from publix left at a circle k gas pump. someone went through the trouble of schlepping it a mile from publix to just leave it at circle k. I think that's kinda stoopid, considering circle k sells their own cases of water. so that was also someone else's extra energy that I capitalized on.

Quote: determination, drive and persistence thank you, westernsky. that's what it's all about. it gets results and hopefully it tweaks my frequency a little bit. that $5K milestone gets closer and closer. by the time I hit it, cycle 22 will have reached $144, or more. right now it sits at $85.

joyce was released from the hospital thursday afternoon after a 3 day stay. tonight I picked just sixty-seven cents, but I also scored this near the pumps at a gas station: someone lost their bike lock... and it was not locked, which made discovering the combination very easy, mostly because the first two numbers were still dialed in. I only had to find out the last two, which I did in under a minute. so I have a 'new' bike lock, which is excellent. I have been wanting to replace one of my old ones for months. once I had found the right combination, I WD40'd the thing and now it's like new. that's an expensive lock, too. double-A+ good, that. nice find.
