1937-D 3 1/2 Leg Buffalo Nickel (Help)

On a true coin, the front right leg of the Buffalo has been polished away between the hoof and the body ... while on this coin those details are readily apparent. Could very well be MS ... One is $2760 in MS65 and the other is $1560. The seller is using a page from Ron Pope's book for the information.
