First group (more to come)- one on the right doesn't look like silver and I'm pretty sure its not real but want to double check. One on the right looks like silver and I was told that is Iulia Augusta (circa 150 AD) wife of septimius severus. Is that correct, and is it real? 1.1  1.2  I'm not very much into Roman and ancient coins but I obtained few Roman coins during the years of collecting and would love to know more about them. Are they real, emperors/empress, denomination, inscriptions, value and any info you can find about them will help. Thanks in advance. Milan Edited by mvojnovic

Fourth group: 4.1  4.2  I'm pretty sure that third coin in this group is fake but not 100% sure. |

Lets try to take these one at a time. The Julia Domna looks authentic to me and if so it would be:
Julia Domna Denarius, RIC 580. IVLIA AVGVSTA, draped bust right / VENVS FELIX, Venus standing left holding apple and drawing out fold of drapery.
The image next to this coin I do not recognize. I can read 'PVSNOBCA__". If you can read the first half of the obverse legend it may help, but I'm inclined to agree that this coin is a fake.

I think I have been able to discern the obverse legend on the second coin as FL IVL CRISPUS NOB CAES. The reverse legend looks like CONCORD-IAAVG___. I cannot find any coins struck for Crispus with this reverse. This doesn't mean anything other than I can't find it. Perhaps someone else will be able to.

OK, I found something. I found a Gold solidus of which I believe your coin may be copy: RIC 103, Depeyrot 17/4 Solidus Obv: FLIVLCRISPVSNOBCAES - Laureate bust facing away, holding spear and shield. I've been looking at the first two coins for sometime now and while I believe the Julia Domna is real. I have no idea who the second coin is supposed to be. The first part of the legend looks like an attempt to spell out IVLIANVS it's not right, I have no idea what the PVS is. This coin just doesn't look right to me.

I think the first coin in your second group is:
Valentinian I AE3. D N VALENTINIANVS P F AVG, pearl diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right / SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE, Victory advancing left with wreath; no field mark. Mintmark star DSISC. RIC 15a, type xi var (no fieldmark for this mintmark)

The second coin in the second group I think is:
Constantius II AE3 Sirmium RIC VIII 52. 351-355 AD. D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right / FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier advancing left, spearing fallen horseman (reaching type), ASIRM dot in ex

The third coin in the second group is much harder as most of the legends are gone/off flan. This is a pure guess on my part, it it might possibly be :
Constantius Gallus. AE22, RIC VIII Thessalonica 177. DN CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES, bare-headed, draped, cuirassed bust right / FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO, soldier spearing fallen horseman who is sitting on ground, arm(s) up, wearing Phrygian helmet. Left field: gamma, right field: star. Mintmark: star TS epsilon star.

I think I figured out the third coin in the 4th group. I cannot tell if it's fake or not but it closely resembles: Otacilia Severa AD 247-249 Obverse: MARCIA OTACIL SEVERA AVG Diademed and draped bust right, set on crescent Reverse: PVDICITIA AVG Pudicitia seated left, holding sceptre and pulling veil Reference RIC 123c http://coinproject.com/coin_detail.php?coin=242842 |

Otacilia Severa Reference RIC 123c While you are correct, it does resemble the above reference, except that the OP coin does not appear to be silver. I would like to know the size and weight of this coin in order to properly ID it. |

Thanks guys. So far perfect. Have one more Roman coin: Big Fake coin:   For this one I'm 100% sure its fake. Just want to now what is it. Its cast (line on the edge). PS Have a couple dozen more roman coins but since they all are in worse condition then second coin in the fifth group I dont see point posting them. Just keep them in the junk pile. Third coin in forth group is 2.64 grams in weight and size is 1.9 cm.
