the pics are too small to tell for sure ,but part of the rim looks like it was ground off,, can you post a bigger pic ?

I cant post a bigger picture without it getting distorted , ot also has some rim marks on it like it was offset , can you meet me at messenger and I will turn on cam and see if that is any better

Hi Zander, Welcome to the forum. Larger pictures would help alot. I agree with Metalman, it looks like the rim was ground off.

Zander best I can tell the nickel is not struck offcenter,, all of the design detail are within the rim, or at least where the rim is visable.
there will be others along through the day ,, we will get other opinions !

I noticed you said from a bar. A friend of mine works in a bar and is always handing me coins he finds on the floor there. Most look like that. Something about a bar that accumulates horrible looking money.
