After being kicked out of the bottom of the wardrobe, my coins have a new home. For those with a small collection like mine - you might want to try a good toolbox.

Great idea as a storage unit, But thieves normaly target tool boxes as a first choice.
I would bolt this through the floor as you would a gun safe to be a bit more secure

I thought about bolting it down but that never stopped the burglars last time with a normal safe. With the coins in this toolbox you need a crane to lift it.

great collection , neat and tidy too ..
what to do next , get a large cardboard box , big enough to fit over the tool box , with plenty of hight , turn upside down , open bottom ,which is now the top and throw in some old cloths like old shirts and pants or jeans and shoes ,or old books like I have in mine ,, then close box ..if any body opens the box , all they see is old items and look elsewhere ,.. ,, kel ,,

keldaw, very novel! love it-

I always wanted to get a lateral filing cabinet. Because it's chunky and be a pain in the bum to bust open if you're doing a burglary!

At the moment, I've got all my coins around my dining room - laying about after my sorting through from my ebay garage sale-

For those people who dont collect too much NCLT and mint sets it might not be ideal though?
