I don't know why but ikes make the best pocket pieces I have a 1978.
Very nice!

I think it is because they are big and more difficult to accidentally spend.

thanks jbuck, I'm thinking about adding a 1973 ike I bought to my pocket, but I just added a 2012s Native American dollar today. Yeah... I have a problem, if I don't quit acquiring more pocket pieces I might have to go buy some suspenders Anywho, I'll probably give in.

1967 Canadian -you must have quite a pocketful of change clunking around there with all those pocket pieces! Do you carry them all at once?

I have two currently, a 1973 penny I found outside of a restaurant with some verdigris on it and a 1970d dime that is already heavily worn. I rarely ever carry change so there isn't a high fear of spending them. And, if I do, I have more change I could replace them with.

Picked up this 2007 P Adams in change from the Metro in DC April of 08. Was shiny, looked fresh from the mint when it plunked in my hand, figured it'd be a neat memento from the trip.

Been living in a pocket with a baby Swiss Army knife, chap-stick and random change ever since. It's worn in nicely.

Pocket-Piece?

Pocket-Piece?

Got a 71 & 74 Ike just laying here...

Thanks! The edge lettering is still pretty easy to read, for edge lettering. What I think is a horrible idea has actually stood up pretty well in this case.

I'll see if I can get some pics today.
