Here are the IHC 1859 and 2 cent 1864 pieces I sent in to PCGS for grading. Results were not what I wanted, stay tunes for the results. I would love to see your grades on these coins. If you ask me the 2 cent piece looks like a woody and the IHC was an easy AU grade as a problem free coin.

I can tell you from personal experience that PCGS doesn't like woodies. So I will guess both got detail grades. Altered color and cleaned.

The IHC I'm sure got a "questionable color" note from PCGS.
Looks recolored.

Both coins look to be either chemically (most likely) or physically cleaned.

It would be nice, however, to have a tighter photo of both coins using greater magnification.

Either way I still feel that these coins have been altered somehow.

i agree, the color on the IHC is off. Don't know enough about 2-cent coins to comment on that one.
