Here are the IHC 1859 and 2 cent 1864 pieces I sent in to PCGS for grading. Results were not what I wanted, stay tunes for the results. I would love to see your grades on these coins. If you ask me the 2 cent piece looks like a woody and the IHC was an easy AU grade as a problem free coin.

I can tell you from personal experience that PCGS doesn't like woodies. So I will guess both got detail grades. Altered color and cleaned.

The IHC I'm sure got a "questionable color" note from PCGS. Looks recolored.

The Indian is scrubbed clean. The other looks cleaned and retoned.

Both coins look to be either chemically (most likely) or physically cleaned.
It would be nice, however, to have a tighter photo of both coins using greater magnification.
Either way I still feel that these coins have been altered somehow.

i agree, the color on the IHC is off. Don't know enough about 2-cent coins to comment on that one.

very light scartch on the left lower quadrant on the obverse. PCGS is picky.
