Another of the inherited coins. What would you grade this coin? Do the contact marks detract significantly? Overall I think it is an untouched piece with sharp details. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your opinions.

The color does not appear natural. Your coin looks to have AU Details however, I think it would be slabbed as such because of obverse damage.

This is a really strong XF 45 cent. Yes the contact marks are a bit distracting but it's a great rare date example.

Might be re-colored and appears to have environmental damage on the reverse right. Details look XF to me.

This key date needs to be in a slab regardless. It's a $1,000+ coin even with "problems".

What do you mean by the color is off and or it has been re-colored? Thank you all for your input.

XF40-details. nicks on the obverse and corrosion on the reverse near the rim (at ~ 4:00).

The color looks questionable, meaning it doesn't look like the original, brown color of a bronze cent.

This coin is commonly counterfeited, so it needs to be sold slabbed.

Send it to ANACS - they are generous when it comes to details-graded Indian Head cents.
