On an extended weekend trip to Montana for a wedding. Wife and I went to a couple of garage sales...and quite possibly....have the best score....EVER...at a garage sale.

I will have to admit, from the picture, the style DOES look a bit 'off'.
How much doed it weigh and what is it's diameter?

Or is it a miniature one that they made back in the 80's?

A co-worker has something like that. I haven't seen that one yet but since his wasn't gold and it has the weight on the reverse, I told him was probably a silver round made by a private mint.

Does it still run? Can you get batteries for it or is it a clock work? It's a real nice find. Jealous

What's on the reverse?

I have one which the obverse looks pretty similar except the date is in Arabic numbers instead of Roman. I bought it from my B&M guy for around spot. On the back it says: "1 Troy Oz .999 Silver Golden State Mint." I Googled "Golden State Mint" and they seem like a reputable company.
