I have 49 consecutively numbered 2003 $2 notes where the serial numbers start with 2013,I20136701-750B and was wondering if something like this would have a premium because of the SN starting with 2013. I know the BEP sold some kind of a set that had the SN starting with a year,i think it was 2000 or 2001 . All in-put welcome as to collectibility and value appreciated. Thanks a bunch,

If the rest of the numbers could somehow form dates, I'd think you'd have something there (so-called "birthday" notes). I don't think you can get dates out of these, though, so I would consider them to be "spenders."

As they are not star notes and do not have fancy serial numbers, I do not think they will have a premium.

I see ebay sellers selling 5-10 consecutive $2 bills for a small profit. But I wouldn't take the risk. They might not sell for the right price or the buyer might keep the cash and engage in dishonest games.

This is what I am talking about:http://www.moneyfactorystore.gov/20...glenote.aspx
My thought was to sell all of mine as a lot for $250 w/free shipping (us only).

I doubt you will find many buyers for these. Only the star notes demand a premium over face.
