Absolutely stunning,what grade is it?
I recall reading somewhere(perhaps Charltons)that proof strikes were made after the fact by someone who had obtained the original dies.Is this one of those restrikes?

The 1844 Bank of Montreal bank token was graded NGC PF65BN.

I couldn't find any indication in Charlton of restrikes for any of the 7 major types of pre-confederation proof bank tokens. Maybe Courteau?

I know a buyer if they do exist.

yarm...From Coins Of Canada by Haxby & Willey
"...In additon...a mule exists with the Habitant reverse of 1837(with City Bank on the ribbon)...long been known that dies and other tools...fell into the hands of...W.J.Taylor and that he used them to produce proofs for sale to collectors. It is also believed that Taylor produced a number of mules.."

The mule is a penny not half penny. No prices listed for the restrikes. The Boulton & Watt mules are listed as Breton 526a, the Taylor mules are priced at about 80% of the originals.
I googled W.J.Taylor and it seems his restrikes and mules using former Boulton&Watt tools and dies were not limited to Canadian tokens.

Thanks DBM!
I'm taking a closer look at the penny tokens in light of your posting.

Here's the obverse and reverse of what Charlton (and NGC) called PC2-A1, in medal alignment, mint state rather than proof. Charlton claims that "PC-2A1 is possibly the W.J.Taylor specimens from the Soho mint dies" and "It is not a mule of the 1842/1837 penny as the obverse die is different from the 1842 obverse die used to mint PC-2B" (the third image below). Even if that's so, it still seems like some sort of mule to me. This particular PC-2B is proof or prooflike depending on whether PCGS or NGC is looking at it.

(There are auction records for Taylor restrikes of the 1794 Copper Co of Upper Canada in proof, but I have yet to locate any sales of Tayler restrikes of other Canadian Soho products in proof.)
