Pretty new here and about a month ago I asked for a roll of nickels from a teriyaki bowl drive-thru. I had read about CRH on this forum. Anyway, I found a 36 Buffalo with about 3/4 horn. Since then, I've been a bit hooked.

I've been to my bank a few times and have found some nice wheats and older nickels, including a couple of War Nickels. I haven't found any silver in dimes and quarters as of yet. There are a few things that you guys helped me with:

1. Completing circulated date sets make it much more enjoyable for me. This way it keeps it interesting because I can always look for upgrades even if I already have a particular date.

2. Varieties are cool to look for; plus learning about the varieties themselves is interesting. Nothing stellar to report yet, though.

3. I wanted to give up on dimes because lookng at the dates gave me a headache. It didn't occur to me to look at the sides of the rims. I had given up on dimes because I found them tedious and I hadn't found anything. Now I can apply this new trick.

So thanks again everyone and I'll let you know if I score a big find!

Cheers
