Ok trying to figure out where the mint mark is on this coin.

1964-Kennedy

I found coins on ebay that show the small D, but this coin doesn't seem to have it. Trying to find out if this is actually a silver coin.

The mintmark should be on the reverse, above the L in "Half Dollar." However, it may have been minted in Philadelphia, which would mean no mintmark.

This is a picture of where it would be if your coin has one.

If you find a small "D" under the eagles right talon it is a Denver mint coin.
If no mint mark is present it is a Philadelphia mint coin

Hello,

Quote:
silver ....65-70 are 40%.

The majority of people that know just enough to be dangerous about coins in general are usually aware that '64 and older coins are the silver ones.

But the common folks who know this 90% fact seldom realize the fact that '65-'70 Kennedy halves are 40% silver.

If one relates this fact early in the selling process to a person selling their coins also containing some '65-'70 Kennedy halves, a great deal of trust and credibility can usually be established since the uneducated seller will feel that the buyer is attempting to give them a fair deal...
