Poll Question
Like many collectors I started collecting Lincoln cents. I soon branched out into Jefferson nickels, Mercury dimes, Type coins, etc. etc. etc. Some of the sets I actually finished, such as Ike dollars and Franklin Halves, are nice but I never really had the "fever" for them. I think that nickels in general, and specifically Buffaloes, are my absolute favorites. The beautiful design, the interesting varieties, and the challenge of completing the set have kept the flame burning for years. There are so many types of ways to collect I wouldn't be surprised to see other win this poll, but what is your most satisfying collection and why? I know I omitted many types from the list and didn't include foreign coins, so please feel free to educate me about why you are passionate about your collection. Results

since it's my first set, i'd have to side w/ Kennedy halves. I've found great quality coins in bank rolls from each mint for just about every year. Of course, the silvers are a little harder to come by, but it's been a blast so far! This site has really helped!!

Wow, a poll with error coins included, thank you.
Of course my Major Error Coins are by far my most satisfying part of my collection.
Hard to beat one-of-a-kind Major Errors with awesome eye appeal,

I voted error and variety after I'm done with circulating coins.

I voted for the type coins because of the wide variety. Why settle for one when you can have them all?

Lincolns, at least for now. So many in circulation and always the opportunity to upgrade a coin, quite often out of circulation. Jim

I've collected by type for quite some time, and I just love it. I've worked on type sets of U.S. coins, British Victorian, Canadian, and Australian. It's more fun to me than collecting sets, which have typically bored me silly. The exceptions are sets of Large Cents, Half Cents, and Bust Half Dollars. So many cool varieties to find !!!

I got such a major rush when I finished the run of "V" Nickels...It's the one set I really love to look at and upgrade often... Now if I could only afford an 1815/2 Bust Half...

I have completed many different set over the years, however the 7070 type set and my Jefferson nickels will always be my favorite. Bruce.

My most satisfying collection is the current box of 20 toned coins based on eye appeal that I am slowly putting together (mainly Morgans, but I'm also a sucker for beautifully toned classic commems).

Something wrong with the system. I clicked 'view the poll', had a look at the results and then when I went back to vote was told I had already voted? regards,
