What has got me scratching my head is the rim beading at 9 to 1 oclock. With those toes and date definition the beading must be a strike issue wouldn't you say? Again I love the coin and I wish I had the cash when you had the other 1921 for sale here since I've recently bought a Dansco for this set. Report this Post to the Staff

These were the last 4 XF-40 examples that sold most recently on Heritage....and I feel mine is substantially stronger than all of them. Look at the tail feathers of the eagle, the inner shield detail, the roundness of the right leg etc... Anyways, I am biased I suppose, but in comparison I still think AU is likely, at least XF-48 if that were a grade....:-) Report this Post to the Staff
