Update 1/3 This was my latest swapmeet purchase. I got this lot for $18. All the silvers are in AU to mint condition (except the belgium franc) with some really nice toning on some.

Update 3/3 I picked up this lot for $5. The 1934 chinese yuan (big coin in the middle) is a 90% silver world crown coin, and is at the top of the list of the coolest piece I've found at the swapmeet. Looks like its been cleaned, but I'm not complaining. The coin to the right of that is a 1937 iraq 50 fils, 50% silver, and is also up there on the "cool" list.

Wow. If the Chinese yuan is genuine, which it seems to be very likely, this is easily worth way more than 5 dollars. I suspect it's closer to the 80 dollar mark although I have not been keeping track of prices.

Very nice finds! Seeing the two proof sets, is 1998 significant?

Not that I know of. They were just selling them together for a price I couldn't pass up.
