Hi everyone, I decided to start my own thread on the coins I find out at the local swap meet. Today I had a pretty good find. 19 coins in total, all from the 1800s and the majority being from great britain. I paid 20 bucks for the entire lot. Here is a photo of some of them. I'll get pictures up of the rest of them soon. And keep checking back as I usually get out there about every week and usually find something. Edited by keepcalmandcoinon 05/03/2014 9:35 pm

Quite an assortment.
You have a couple from Belgium, one from Italy, one from India and one from Hong Kong in addition to those from Britain.
I looked them up on en.numista.com if you don't already know about that site.

Went back to the swap meet today and scored a nice Kennedy half dollar for 5 bucks. The 1910 wheat was thrown in for free.

Nice score! The metal content in that '64 Kennedy is currently right at $7. And the 1910 is pretty worn but I'd take it for free! Great stuff.

Thank you celtic! It doesn't beat the Franklin half I got for $1.50 but I'll take a 90% half for 5 bucks all day long.

You've got some nice Victorian bun farthings, halfpennies and pennies there - most of the ones that turn up in junk bins over here are extremely worn. And the 1897 Veiled Head penny is well above average too. I think you made a good buy.

Thanks j buck and celtic. Thanks numisrob. It's pretty much the same over here where I'm at. Any farthings half pennies and pennies that are in the condition of some of the ones I picked up usually carry a premium. These are by far the best looking examples in my collection and probably from what I've seen in my town.
