I just received this 1822 Bust Half Dollar, O-105 I think. It has a bit of luster, but my photo skills aren't good.

I'd appreciate your comments and opinions on grade. I'll post the NGC grade in a day or two.

A couple details concern me. Is there any question as to whether it's genuine?

It is genuine with an old cleaning. Looks like it would make EF details.

I would guess XF (I may need to be schooled ). Either way, that is my favorite 2 design on this series. Nice one, cipster!

EF-45 details, scrape on obverse at 3 O'Clock and possible old cleaning.

Thanks for your comments and opinions. NGC graded it AU Details - cleaned. It does look like an old cleaning and is very nice in hand.

I think that NGC got it correct. Slightly better than XF-details.
