I just wanted to confirm that this is a struck through grease error. I found it while I was looking through my copper pennies, for hole fillers to my 1909-2009 penny album.

I also wanted to know if there is any premium for a something like this. (If it is genuine of course.)

Thanks!

Lots of greasers happen in that space. Not really worth more than 2 cents.

Looks to be a greaser to me,this cent is worth few cents. If a collector was into that spot on the Rev for struck through grease then maybe more but not likely.

Most greasers that get a good to great premium are when 50% to 100% of the cent is struck through grease. Maybe if Cooper has time he will post some pics.

Minor to strongest:

The higher the percentage of blockage, the collectors become more interested. Usually in the 80% and up range.
