AU-58 Coin exhibits high point wear on the curl near the ribbon, the hair above the ear and on the ribbon loop on the reverse.
The "stretch" marks in front of Liberty's face are indicative of a late die state. There is considerable die crumbling on the left side of the wreath as well. In my opinion a very late die state would account for the bad denticles too. The dies were just really worn. Issues like this don't affect the grade but they do affect the price.
