Listed randomly with a bunch of other lower grade (cull, holed, etc) capped bust dimes, this one caught my attention.

It's an 1829 JR-9 (Small 10c over Large 10c.) Seller apparently didn't notice and/or care, not that it's worth much of a premium, but they're reasonably scarce.

I think it makes at least G4 details (scratches) with a G6 reverse; opinions? For pocket-change money, I might try some acetone on it.

Nice pickup. Be careful, I bathed a CC dime in Acetone & while it did remove some gunk, in hindsight the dark crevices added a nice contrast that I kinda miss.

I've got a couple of holed Capped Bust dimes I may try it on first.

This is my 2nd cherry pick today, also nabbed a 1943-S Washington 25c DDO in solid VG from a junk silver seller.

G-06. The scratches are not too bad, not sure if they warrant a details grade.

G-6, scratches are not bad enough to make it a details coin.

I don't think it's a details coin. I like the look the way it is.

Got it in hand today and was pleasantly surprised to find that seller's pictures made it look way darker. It's really quite a bit lighter and the scratches are barely visible, earning it a solid G4 in its new 2x2.

I'd call it Good+. Nice pick-up on the 10/10.
