I am Surprised that this coin was offered to everyone, I think it would have been far more meaningful if it had only been given to a select group of MC members. One of the deciding factors should have been MC members that spent "X" amount of money last year but only purchased one of each type of coin. ( I think lots of us most likely only buy a couple doubles each year to give to friends and family ) That would count out dealers and flippers for the most part. My feeling is its just another one of to many releases this year.

Like I was saying who cares, nothing exclusive, could have taken a special privy maple leaf would have been a better reward. 90% held for platinum plus equals 5400 members they are probably doing something really special for these 600 members.

90% were held for Master Club members in general and several dozen of that 90% were distributed to Platinum Plus members.

My reading of the RCM email was there are 5400 platinum plus members could be wrong.

The coin not ment to be 1oz. The Zodiac Scalloped series has exactly same specs, so the RCM reused it for this coin. Imo, the coin is good, but since available to everyone and the mintage is 6.000 (like UHR Lynx), so yes, nothing exclusive.

When you are lead to believe you are to receive something special and unique for reaching certain levels it sure is disappointing to say the least. As I mentioned before you can buy 6000.00 from many large RCM dealers get 2 or 3 of this coin free, and that's the rub with this offer, again who cares, why buy from RCM.

Quote: It's not exclusive, it's FREE! Is it really free? I agree with John100. Lets do the math. Buy $5000 at the RCM and get a "free" coin worth $100. Buy $5000 at dealers with 5% discount = $4750. Use the $250 to buy the "free" coin and you have $150 left over. In fact you could buy two of the "free" coins and you will still have money left. The situation is worse for people who in provinces with PST. Buy $5000 at the RCM and your total is $5350 if you live in BC with 7% PST. $5350 - $4750 at other dealers = $600. You could buy 6 of the "free" coins!
