AU 55-58; looks nice! How does the luster show in hand? Maybe higher? Where's the wear?

The photos are fairly representative of how the coin looks in-hand. Luster is somewhat muted which is what likely limited the grade. The luster that is present is continuous across the fields. I see no wear but there is some friction visible on Liberty's cheek which I presume is why CCF graders did not see this coin as mint state. NGC called it MS-62 and CAC agreed it was solid for the grade. I saw another Barber half at the show graded PCGS MS-63. That coin was blast white with strong luster. It had many tiny nicks and some scattered hairlines and was not CAC-approved. The original surfaces (and lower price) of the NGC coin were deciding factors.
