Found in roll from bank. Wondering what and if this would have a number to identify it?

Doubled die - yes, but too minor to bother with.

Keep it, its a start. I saved and took an image of my first extra column bar Cent.

When he said it was minor, he didn't mean just because you found it, but because of the strength or width of the bar is light/short. This may help:

So there are varying widths, lengths for these. Minor is just a term to categorize them for listing. Strong long bars can be listed, minor ones are more of a personal collectible to the finder.

Wrongalot - I didn't take any credit from you for having found a doubled die. Yes, you found one. I simply stated it's too minor to bother with, meaning it's too minor to be a collectible, listable doubled die.

Now that you know what you're looking for, take a look around. These things are extremely common. I find at least one in every hundred coins that looks like yours. One in a thousand will be good enough to be considered collectible.

This is the first for me and I think I have searched over 10,000 in the last 2 months. I live in OK, so get mostly Denver MM here.

Wrongalot: question: What have you found that's noteworthy amongst those $100.00 worth of cents?

I have found a few RPM's that is about it. It is getting to be a very scarce occasion to find anything to hoop and hollar about. I believe that all the good coins have been found by others. I am probably going through others rejects. May have to switch to another denomination.
I probably have enough to fill a folder, except the early teens, 20's and 30's. Someone is really hording them. And on ebay you will spend too much for junk coins.
