I do not think I could make a serious inquiry guess it is not my 'lucky day'. What is it?
Quote: Found this coin in the attic while cleaning out realatives house. It weighs 33.44 grams on my scale so that comes out to roughly 1.2oz. gold is 1,285.00 a oz so I figure another $3000.00 since it's over a hundred and fifty years old should make it around 4500.00 so it is for sale at the price of $4,500.00 USD serious inquires only please. The quality of this coin is next to brilliant uncirculated from what I've read about coins recently. Thank you however it is not graded and it has to be graded well I love in country and have no idea where to get this done and it would be a days drive and I simply don't have time with my job. So it's someone's lucky day
it sort of looks like a double eagle, but the image is too blurry and too small to be sure. And for that price you could get one that's slabbed/graded and be sure.
Seller sounds like a scammer. Pics have to be better, plus they say it's $4500 in the description, and the price is $2500 in the listing, OBO. Oh, look, they made a mistake, and are undercharging. A feedback score of 2. I don't think so.
