Sap Moderator Australia 16912 Posts	Posted 11/09/2016 11:15 pm Not Irish, English. The top one - with the clearly legible "IN PYRTON", comes from the town of Pyrton, Oxfordshire. Issued by a fellow named John Farmer (or Farmar) in 1656. The bottom one is too badly corroded for me to make out, other than it was issued by a gentleman surnamed "Cooke". I'm not familiar enough with the series to narrow it down further. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
