The elk sculpture coin looks good with its antlers. Only coin so far that don't look like a glop of metal.

Do the rolls of coins come with any sort of display case or holder or anything?

The rolls of coins come in a dark display case. Don't know if it is wood or plastic.

Also, some of the rolls will only appear in this set and nowhere else.

The quarter roll will contain both coloured and non-colour.

The $2 roll will have both GITD and non-GITD.

Unless the coloured/gitd coin is at the end of the roll, there'd really be no way to know how many, if any are in it without unwrapping it.

Is the Viny Ridge coin the new $2 Twonie commemorative that was announced earlier?

Did we have it at all?
I remember Pysanka rush and some MC secret coin.

Thank you, MoneyPenney, by unofficially replacing Windscar by managing the monthly release news!

This additional times reminds me about all members, that have been in the roots of the forums, but not anymore participating....

I knew time was going fast as you get older, but April "2107". Those 90 years flew by in an instant. :)

I suppose the advantage of roll collecting is one can avoid that twinge of guilt for seldom looking at whatever spectacular design was the attraction of a NCLT coin when it was originally purchased. Typically it got stored somewhere in its clamshell case, out of sight and soon forgotten.

However a roll is, well, just a roll and not very interesting to look, generally stored somewhere out of sight. But rolls also offers a great element of intrigue as there's always the possibility one of the coins inside is a unique rarity. Like an unwrapped present.

Watch for RCM special wrap rolls to become the next niche collector market.... a sort of back to the basics. Not a bad thing in my opinion.
