This Kennedy half has the mint mark punched in so hard that it has made a small indentation at the site of the mark. Also the N in IN looks a little funny and there appears to be a small bar of metal running through the O in GOD and terminating at the lower left edge of the D in GOD. This is a raised area and not a scratch or clash mark. Would any or all of these constitute any significant errors? Thanks!

Hard to tell from this angle. Take another picture from directly over the coin. Show the entire coin. Also, get as close as you can to the area in question with out being blurry. You are looking in the right spot.

Take a square on shot, I see what may be a struck through pice of debris across the O and an top of the corner of D, I think. Hard to tell. Would like to see a pix with nose, lips and IN GOD in one frame. See something on N I question but need better pix.

At the very least a die chip or a strike through on GOD.
The rest needs straight on photos.

, forgot that! Not a lot better, but that does tell me there's a bit of Die Deterioration going on, not a doubled die. It does appear to be a die chip , that was caused by a previous strike through that damaged the die to cause that impression. It is a damaged die error, not worth any real premiums, one of those things in coin making.

It looks raised, could it be a die gouge?

I was also thinking a possible die gouge through GOD.

I haven't quite figured out how to thank each of you individually for your helpful contributions to this thread, so I hope this response goes out to all of you--THANKS so much!

looks pretty much normal. Die gouge on the 'O'. The mint mark area may have been polished down a bit, making a raised area on the coins struck.
