You should, therefore, go by Red Book if you are going to use this as a price guide. Please keep in mind that, while the Red Book has great information, it is not the best price guide to use. I have found that the prices get pretty close around September or October, but the Red Book is still off on certain series. Morgan dollars are priced too high for common dates, wheat cents are still underpriced in the 2009 edition, and I'm sure that there are other series that are not going to be accurate.
